Selfless Love Foundation Raises $3.6 Million at Fifth Annual Gala

Date: May 25, 2022 | by Selfless Love Foundation

Champagne, dancing flowers, and Patrón Tequila tastings welcomed guests to Selfless Love Foundation’s Fifth Annual Gala. The sold-out event at The Breakers on Saturday, May 14 raised more than $3.6 million to transform the lives of children and youth in the foster care system.

Actress and comedian Melissa Peterman emceed the fundraiser, using her humor and antics to drive up bids for live auction items including, stunning diamond earrings, 7-nights on the superyacht Broadwater, and a VIP package at the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction. Guests were moved to tears as some of the more than 600 forever families Selfless Love Foundation helped to bring together took the stage.

“As a child of adoption, I know the value of a forever family – love and stability change everything,” said Ashley Brown, founder and CEO of Selfless Love Foundation. “We are privileged to play a role in bringing families together or being an extended family to our youth.”

All proceeds from the event will help to match children in foster care with adoptive families and provide life and leadership skills for youth who are aging out of the system.

Selfless Love Foundation wishes to thank our generous gala sponsors: Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits; Patrón Tequila; JP’s Peace, Love & Happiness Foundation; Tobak Diamond; Gerber Kawasaki; Wells Fargo Private Bank; Wheels Up; Marc-Michaels Interior Design; Exclusive Resorts; The Maounis Family; Worth Avenue Yachts; Palm Beach Illustrated; The Fishman Family Foundation; Roberto Coin, Inc.; Three Sixteen Foundation.
