A Decade of Dedication
In 2015, Ashley and Ed Brown set out to make the world a better place for children in foster care; a world where every child has a family, where youth know they belong and that their voices matter.
As an adoptee, Ashley’s passion was to help children find their forever families. Ed aspired to support youth aging out of foster care. Together, they started Selfless Love Foundation to foster dreams for foster children.
In 2025, we are celebrating 10 Years of Selfless Love and the thousands of lives that have been changed through adoption, independent living, and advocacy.
Cheers to a decade of dedication! → Blog Post

Selfless Love Foundation Advocacy Win
Advocacy leads to law
Selfless Love Foundation’s advocacy work has led to a Florida Law securing the photos of children in foster care who are available for adoption. For more than two years, SLF, staff champions, and youth advocates worked together to remove public access to photos of vulnerable children. This legislative win for safety and youth voice took effect on July 1, 2024!
