Selfless Love Foundation (SLF) was created in 2015 by Ashley and Ed Brown to make the world a better place for children in foster care. Adopted as an infant, Ashley always desired to pay her blessing forward.
Today, SLF has helped hundreds of children get adopted, supported thousands of youth on their journey to adulthood, and advocated for system-level changes, including a Florida law to remove public access to photos of adoptable children.
Our founders, Ashley and Ed, remain involved in SLF’s daily work, serving as volunteer CEO and board chair.
Ashley is a 2024 George H.W. Bush Points of Light Awards honoree. The Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute named Ashley “one of our brightest angels,” and The Florida Coalition for Children presented her with the “Lighting the Way Award.”
