Selfless Love Foundation believes personal experiences within the child welfare system can provide valuable insight into improving policies and programs. Along with professional expertise and passion for our work, many of our team members have personal connections to our mission – as foster parents, adoptive parents, adoptees, or having been in foster care.
Ashley Brown
Founder & CEO
Ashley Brown believes that family is a gift and that every child deserves one. Her adoption as an infant changed the trajectory of her life. Selfless Love Foundation is her way of paying that gift forward. In 2015, Ashley and her husband Ed Brown, former CEO of Tequila Patrón, founded Selfless Love Foundation.
The nonprofit is dedicated to improving the child welfare system and creating opportunities for more foster children to find their forever families and thrive in adulthood.

Ted Keyser
Executive Director
Ted Keyser oversees the people and programs that allow Selfless Love Foundation to impact children in foster care and youth who age out of the system. He brings over 15 years of child welfare experience to the organization.
Adopted as an infant, Keyser also has a personal connection to SLF’s mission.
